Ketentuan Umum

  • All regulatory provisions of the rules in these guidelines do not conflict with and are in line with all regulatory provisions of the rules of Widyatama University as well as the regulatory provisions of the rules and laws that apply nationally within the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia .
  • Seluruh ketentuan aturan dalam pedoman ini berlaku bagi seluruh mahasiswa dan penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Universitas Widyatama.
  • Seluruh dosen yang ditugaskan untuk mengampu penyelenggaraan akademik memenuhi atau melebihi ketentuan-ketentuan kualifikasi minimum dan kewenangan yang telah diatur dalam regulasi dan Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia, dengan penyesuaian seperlunya untuk keadaan di Universitas Widyatama

Kebijakan Seleksi Mahasiswa Baru

  1. The quota for accepting new students in each study program from each selection pathway for each Academic Year is determined by a Rector’s Decree.
  2. The selection of new students is aimed at producing input for the educational process with qualifications in accordance with the intended study program and meeting the threshold of measurement that guarantees success in studying until graduation.
  1. For all Bachelor degree, diploma-3 and diploma-4 study programs at Widyatama University, selection participants come from graduates of high school or Islamic Boarding Schools or other special education who have received an equivalency certificate from the local Secondary Education Office/or SMK which has a scientific field that is linear with the intended study program.
  2. For all master’s study programs at Widyatama University, the selection requirements for participants come from undergraduate program graduates who have a scientific field that is linear with the intended master’s study program, except for the Master of Management Study Program.
  3. For the Accounting Professional Program at Widyatama University, the selection requirements for participants are graduates of undergraduate programs who have a linear field of accounting knowledge.
  1. The Interest and Ability Search Pathway (PMDK). The Interest and Ability Search Pathway (PMDK) is a selection pathway whose main goal is to evenly select the best prospective students from high schools throughout Indonesia. This selection pathway is divided into two types:

    • Academic PMDK is a selection based on the report card scores of SMA/MA/SMK students in grade XII from 1st semester to 4th semester, with the provision that the scores for all subjects are >= 7.
    • Non-Academic PMDK is a selection based on non-academic achievements with the requirement to attach a certificate of achievement at least at the provincial level.

    New students who graduated from the PMDK selection are exempted from registration fees, but still have to pay normal tuition fees as charged to new students who graduated from the Entrance Screening Examination.

  2. The Entrance Screening Test (USM) is a selection path based on written test scores carried out en masse by all participants, with the following provisions:
  • The USM material is designed to representatively measure the readiness and abilities of selected participants in following bachelor degree, diploma-3, and diploma-4 study programs at Widyatama University.
  • Passing the USM selection is based on an assessment of the written exam answers.
  1. The general guidelines and formulas used in determining and calculating selection scores for each selection pathway are determined by the Rector’s Decree.
  2. The determination of the passing of the new student selection from each selection path is discussed and recommended by the new student selection passing meeting, namely based on the guidelines in point a and the selection results data provided by the selection implementation team.
  3. The recommendation for the selection passing hearing as referred to in point b is confirmed by the Rector’s Decree, then used as the basis for announcing the selection results to the selection participants.
